About the Work:

Iron wire - 278 pieces, 40cm height 2 pieces, 2002

Human figures made of thin metal wire imitate a crowd of people walking vitally in one direction as if they have been dictated by a suspicious power. But seemingly they are too dumb, coming from nowhere and moving towards the unknown. They themselves don’t know what their aim is, and what they are striking for. No flags, no panels, no boards, nothing: the only thing they can do is hang around. In spite of this “involvement”, they know that they don’t know anything. They invite the audience by saying: “If you have nothing to do, join us because we have lots of nothingness”.
